Weekend Madrassa

This is a service created purposely to cater for children attending regular schools either religious or secular and are within age 4 – 15 years. The children that attend these classes are taken through courses like: recitation of Qur’an, Hadith, Adhkar, Islamic studies, Sirah (Islamic history), Qira’a wa kitaab and Arabic.

This takes place physically and virtually on Saturdays and Sundays. Physical classes begins at 10am and ends at 2pm while virtual classes starts 3pm and ends at 6pm.

ICSA Homeschooling

This service is aimed at homeschooling children at early age of 6 years to learn about the religion along with the regular academic subjects such as Mathematics, English language, Science and Social Studies.

This takes place Monday – Friday from 8am to 2pm.

Summer Class

Like every other summer programme, ICSA Summer class is an annual programme tagged: The Patriotic Child. It centers on learning about the religion of Islam in a fun and relaxed way.

Moreover, attendees are taken through public speaking session, art and crafts, sports and time out which could be a visit to the orphanage or at fun place.

TCBC (Terminal Class Breaker Course)

TCBC is a service dedicated to cater for two categories of students viz: Junior and Young Adult. TCBC Junior has to do with students’ transiting from Year 5/6 to the secondary school and whose parent can afford to give a break to harness their religious knowledge in the light of reciting and memorizing the Qur’an, the science of the Qur’an, the Hadith, Arabic/Qira’ah wal kitaba and learning of some other core academic subjects like Mathematics, English and General Science.

While the TCBC Young Adult has to do with secondary school leavers awaiting admission into tertiary schools within or outside the country and who is willing to perfect his/her memorization of the Qur’an, understand the science of the Qur’an, learn more about the religion through Hadith, building a religious personality and understanding interpersonal relationship. These classes take place both physically and virtually. Hence, there are about three (3) branches to drive home the objectives of this programme as shown in the chart below.

Young Adult Class (YAC)

This is another wonderful programme set aside for senior secondary school students and leavers. They are tutored basically on recitation of the Qur’an at their own pace. It is a virtual session and based on personalized tutoring time and day.

ICSA Awakening Hub

Our last service is the Awakening Hub. This service is Free of Charge. It is a give back service by ICSA to the society. It caters for religious, interpersonal and professional discussions among people of diverse tribe and origin. It holds fortnightly on Sunday night at 9pm via Zoom Conference Call. Members on this call are undergraduates, graduates and young Muslim workers who perhaps are yearning to be in a safe and trusted setting where basic religious core values and practices are encouraged.

Some of the major objectives of the Awakening Hub is to connect young Muslims of professional similarity, connect brothers and sisters willing to start a home together, connect people of different origin to harness the spirit of intellectuality and relationship.
